Thing # 3 Set up your own blog (Week 2 Blogging) revisited

Well, I got my avatar downloaded thanks to the rest of the story and came back to complete Thing#3, register, and and move on to Thing #5. Couldn't get my regular email address (on hotmail.com) to work on this site so I am using my second email address (from yahoo.com).
